Silkroute launches Park Avenue seating collection, expands Artsome line

FURNITURE, RUG and accessory resource Silkroute International is kicking off the summer market season with the launch of a new seating collection and expansion of one of its existing lines.
Silkroute is unveiling the Park Avenue Collection at this month's Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, with a larger showing planned at July's Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and Las Vegas Market.
"We have over 25 different styles ranging from traditional to ultra-modern, contemporary to retro," said Ferozan Ibrahimi, owner of Silkroute International.
The collection includes sofas, sectionals, chairs, chaises, loveseats and upholstered headboards and footboards. More than 100 upholstery options are available for the collection's 25 styles, including velvet, micro suede and chenille.

Silkroute’s new upholstery collection, Park Avenue, above, debuts this month in Dallas, alongside additions to the Artsome Collection, including a riveted metal cocktail table.

"We realize that our client has a unique sense of style with discriminating expectations, and we pride our ability in meeting those lofty demands at a fair and reasonable price," Ibrahimi said. "With our attractive price point for Park Avenue, we are able to deliver affordable luxury, made in the USA."
Pieces in the collection retail from $3,000 to $5,000.
Silkroute is also introducing new pieces to its Artsome Collection at the summer markets. The collection includes sofas, club chairs, bar stools, ottomans, trunks and case goods and ranges in retail price from $250 to $7,000.
Ibrahimi described the vintage leather and aluminum collection as "classic designs with an edge, mixing old with new."
Following the initial launch of the new and expanded collections in Dallas, Silkroute will open a new, expanded showroom at Americasmart. At more than 14,000 square feet, the new showroom on Floor 5 of Building 1 is nearly three times larger than Silkroute's previous space.
The company is also opening a 20,000-sq.-ft. warehouse five miles from Americasmart to ensure inventory is readily available for clients.
"With increasing our showroom space in Atlanta, we are now able to show a broader range of merchandise," Ibrahimi said. "Not only will we have the space for more of our wonderful one-of-a kind finds, we will also have a portion of the showroom dedicated to the new division of our company, Silkroute Home. It's focused on re-orderable items such as our successful, high quality leather Artsome Collection as well as the Park Avenue Collection, an American-made custom upholstery line. This expansion will allow our clients to shop for more of their product needs, from accessories to architectural pieces."
Silkroute will celebrate the grand opening of the new showroom with a party on Friday, July 12.
"We look forward to sharing a fun, relaxing evening with our customers as they enjoy a live band, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and giveaways - the grand prize being a cruise for two," Ibrahimi said.
