Stylecraft hosts Jane Seymour in High Point

Estes promoted to VP; growth plans announced

Lamp, wall décor and accent furniture source Stylecraft Home Collection hosted Jane Seymour in its High Point Jane Seymour at Stylecraft, High Point Market, Spring 2013showroom Saturday.

The actress and artist, who has a licensed collection with Stylecraft, painted some of her signature watercolor designs, then joined the company for a meet-and-greet cocktail party that afternoon. She debuted about 20 new items in the line for this season.

In other Stylecraft news, Andy Estes has been promoted to vice president of the company. Previously the national accounts director, Estes brings more than 30 years of experience in the home furnishings industry.

Stylecraft has also hired a new sales associate to manage big box accounts, E.B. Wagner. Wagner, though new to the home décor industry, brings five years of experience selling to big box customers in other product categories.

In March, Stylecraft began domestic China sales, taking a space at the Guangzhou home décor show. This JS at SCoperation will be managed by Charlie Zhou, the head of Asian Operations for the company. Production for this line will be done by Stylecraft in its own China facility.

Stylecraft's High Point showroom is located at 130 S. Main St. The company is unveiling more than 500 new products for this market.

The company also announced this week that it is moving into a new, larger showroom in Atlanta's Americasmart.
Located on Floor 4 of Building 1, the new showroom is more than 9,000 square feet.

"We introduce thousands of new designs each season," said Jimmy Webster, president of Stylecraft Home Collection. "We could only show about a tenth of our line so we're expanding our space as our product line continues to grow and moving to the new floor."
