Crystorama launches merchandising contest on Facebook

Decorative lighting provider Crystorama is launching Showroom Stars, a merchandising contest hosted on its Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Crystorama. The goal of the contest is to support Crystorama retailers by featuring showroom displays and drive sales at retail, according to a press release.

Customers are invited to email a photo of a Crystorama lighting display from a showroom or retail store to info@crystorama.com. Each emailed entry must include the store name and location. Upon receiving each photo, Crystorama will add it to a Showroom Stars Facebook photo album.

The photo receiving the most likes on Facebook will receive a first place prize of a $1,000 merchandise credit, second place receives a $750 merchandise credit and third place receives a $500 merchandise credit. As an incentive, the sales representative who covers the territory where the first place winner is located will receive a $500 stipend.

Only one photo may be entered per showroom/store. All photos must be emailed to info@crystorama.com between Feb. 1 and April 30. Winners will be announced May 1. Merchandise credits will be available beginning June 1. The lighting retailer must "like" Crystorama's Facebook page in order to be declared a winner.
