Nourison launches Kathy Ireland Home line

Kathy Ireland officially launched her line of rugs and pillows with Nourison last month during the High Point Market.
In April, Nourison soft-launched three of the Kathy Ireland Home rugs. This market, the full, nine-collection series was introduced with retail prices ranging from $299 to $699. The rugs run the gamut of constructions and materials. In addition, a set of pillows designed by Ireland and Nourison's Mina Victory debuted.
As part of the launch, Nourison and Kathy Ireland Home announced a joint donation of $5,000 to be split between the Boys & Girls Club of Greater High Point and the Family Service of the Piedmont.
In addition to Nourison's altruistic spirit, Ireland said the company has been a great partner for rugs and pillows.
"What a privilege we have to be in families' homes. It's very intimate that families would invite us into their homes," she said. "To be able to work with leaders in the industry who understand the needs of our customers and retailers and address them in beautiful ways, that is a joy."
Alex Peykar, a principal of Nourison, said he's known Ireland for close to 15 years, and in the year since the plans for the partnership began coming together, she and her team have been every bit what he's expected.
"When we started discussing how or when we could get it started, Kathy's team have been unbelievable in every aspect between getting started and where we are today," Peykar said.
Peykar said Ireland's team has a clear vision in mind when they enter into partnerships and design products, and they're clear in expressing it throughout the process. Peykar said Nourison is pleased to be able to carry the Kathy Ireland Home banner because of what it represents.
"She worries about not one family, not two. She looks after the needs of Middle America and the kind of looks and perceived value," Peykar said.
