SnapRetail partners with Ideation

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — SnapRetail, a digital marketing company, announced a new partnership with Ideation, a print catalog producer.

SnapRetail makes it easy for independent retailers to use email, Facebook and Twitter to market products and drive increased sales, while Ideation helps independent retailers market their products through gift catalogs, according to a press release. The partnership will allow retailers to combine Ideation's catalog promotional abilities with SnapRetail's digital marketing system.

"SnapRetail is excited to complement Ideation's many years of leadership in print catalogs with our digital marketing product, TrafficBuilder," said Ted Teele, CEO, SnapRetail. "Retailers can combine their traditional catalogs with digital marketing to get a ‘digital boost' for their holiday marketing efforts."

SnapRetail includes tens of thousands of product images and branded content from more than 80 manufacturers such as Vera Bradley, Mud Pie, Yankee Candle and Midwest-CBK. Its paid user base has tripled since January, according to the company.

SnapRetail will be launching its "digital boost" at Ideation's summer buying market in June in Michigan. Charter customers will receive special pricing.
