Decorize to produce Broyhill accessories

Home accents producer Decorize announced today it has partnered with Broyhill Furniture to design and source a line of home accessories, lamps, wall decor and accent furniture branded under the Broyhill name.
Broyhill Furniture presented a comprehensive Broyhill Home Solutions Collection at the recent High Point market. The program will ship on demand to Broyhill dealers early in 2007. “For the last 18 months, Decorize has worked closely with the Broyhill design team to develop exclusive home accents for new lines of Broyhill furniture,” said Jim Parsons, Decorize executive vice president of product development. Broyhill introduced more than 1,200 SKUs in a dedicated Accessory Order Center and combined accents with furniture collections within a 7,500-sq.-ft. Broyhill prototype gallery during the High Point Market. Rugs and top-of-bed products will likely be added to its accessories offerings at the spring High Point market, said Mark Summerour, vice president of dedicated distribution for Broyhill. “The partnership with Broyhill is further confirmation of Decorize’s commitment to be the market leader in design and production of home accents,” said Steve Crowder, Decorize president and CEO. “We were thrilled with the reception to the Broyhill Home Solutions collection from dealers in High Point, and look forward to building upon our collaboration with Broyhill Furniture.” Broyhill tested its Home Solutions program over the summer in 11 markets across the country and reported good results in both sales and order replenishment, Summerour said. Broyhill is part of Furniture Brands International, also the parent company of Drexel Heritage, Henredon, Maitland-Smith, Lane and Thomasville.
