Interior Lifestyle China grows by two pavilions

With four pavilions already committed to returning to Interior Lifestyle China 2013, the show, based at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, is growing by an additional two pavilions.
"We are very happy to welcome first time pavilions from India and the U.S. to the show," said Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt, which organizes the show. "These pavilions have been organised by India's Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and the International Housewares Association from the US. Both organisations are showing their confidence in China's fast-growing consumer market."
In addition to pavilions from the U.S. and India, ILC features pavilions from France, Germany, Italy and Taiwan.
Derek Miller, International Housewares Association vice president, said the show is properly positioned to introduce western brands and products to the Chinese market.
"Interior Lifestyle China represents an excellent opportunity for our members to meet appropriate buyers. Even though our members have been to China to source products in the past, this will be the first organized effort to showcase our member's brands within the Chinese marketplace," Miller said. "The pavilion participants would like to better understand the Chinese market and the opportunities and challenges that exist. They also want to meet Chinese retail and distributor buyers and other partners who can help them enter the market.
The theme of the show, which takes place Sept. 25-27, is "Gift of Life," and will feature the "Store of Happiness" which will be divided into four themed gift sections - Fashionable Wedding, Modern Gift, Seasonable Festival and Gift Package.
