Butler Specialty adds accessory line

Accent furniture specialist Butler Specialty made its first foray into the accessory business during the spring market, in addition to extensive new additions to its furniture offerings.
Butler has over the past few market seasons expanded its product line significantly beyond its core cherry traditional pieces that it has produced since its founding in the 1930s.
"We are really focusing on new product directions," said David Bergman, president. "We were so heavily into cherry that there was a huge void in our offerings," he added, noting that now that Butler is working with 45 different factories overseas, it has all sorts of abilities and capacity to make products of different styles and materials.
The Hors D'Ouevres accessory line includes more than 80 pieces.
"If somebody wants it, we can find someone to do it," he said. "That will be the engine of our growth for years to come. It's an exciting time for us."
