Company C to Host “Passion for Pink” Breast Cancer Charitable Promotion

Area and accent rug and soft home furnishings design and manufacturing house Company C is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting its first “Passion for Pink” event at its showroom on Oct. 17 and 18 during the High Point Market.
To support the cause, 15% of all sales during the event will benefit breast cancer awareness, research and education.
The two-day event is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Company C's space in suite D432 at the International Home Furnishings Center. Dealers may also place orders online and via facsimile 24 hours a day on those days.
“Color is the foundation of Company C's design philosophy, and there are some colors, like pink, that have a deeper meaning for all of us,” said Christine Chapin, co-founder and design director. “With this event, we are partnering with people who share the same passion for wellness, the color pink and all it represents.”
Company C is also offering the Sachi Pink accent rug, which was introduced as part of the spring 2009 collection. For every Sachi Pink rug sale, Company C will donate 20% to benefit breast cancer awareness and community outreach. Available year-round, the 2-by-3 hand-hooked and 100% wool accent rug retails at $75.
In other High Point-related news from Company C, the company will be hosting a color and design trend forecast for its retail customers on October 13 at 3 p.m. Michelle Lamb of The Trend Curve will be the guest speaker and will discuss trend and color projections for 2010.
