Chris Madden partners with Idea Nuova to launch soft goods line

Designer Chris Madden and brand management and licensing company Earthbound have announced a partnership with Idea Nuova, a producer of home décor, textiles, decorative accessories and giftware, to re-launch the Chris Madden brand.
Idea Nuova will be the anchor licensee in bedding, window curtains, throws and decorative pillows for Madden, building off of her eight-year run at J.C. Penney.
Madden has gained international recognition in her 35-year career for her "elegant interiors and timeless looks," according to a press release. Nick Madden, executive vice president of Chris Madden, Inc., said the Chris Madden brand has generated about $2 billion in retail sales.
"Chris Madden is an iconic brand with an excellent heritage," said Jeff Cohen, co-chairman of Earthbound. "They have achieved great success over the past three decades in the home furnishings arena. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them and bring the brand back to the market. We believe that Idea Nuova will be an ideal partner in this effort, and we look forward to great success together."
