Bobby Berk Home's new Los Angeles store carries decorative accessories, tabletop, soft goods and furniture, including Berk's own line of upholstery and case goods.
Los Angeles - Retailer and designer Bobby Berk has opened his fourth Bobby Berk Home location, in Los Angeles. Berk also has stores in New York's SoHo, Atlanta and Miami, as well as an online shop.
Bobby Berk Home is known for hip, modern home furnishings and accessories sourced from around the world. The Los Angeles showroom, located in the Culver City Helms Bakery design district, infuses "a laid back, Californian chic with Bobby's high energy, colorful and modern aesthetic," according to a press release.
"Expanding to the West Coast has always been a dream of mine, and this new store is like nothing else in LA," Berk said. "We have gorgeous custom furniture including my new line that is made right here in LA, fabulous accessories, kids' furniture, tabletop and bedding that speaks to a definitive Los Angeles state of mind."
Bobby Berk Home released its first signature line of upholstery and case goods in July, and the Los Angeles store will showcase these original collections, with many customizable options.
"Bobby Berk Home is where gorgeous design and quality craftsmanship meets a modern eco-aware mindset - all at an affordable price point," Berk said. "My furniture line features classic minimal forms and clean lines, in colors and fabrics that express a youthful outlook. Everything is made from eco-friendly materials like FSC certified oak and walnut, and many of the upholstered pieces are filled with trillium, which is made from recycled materials."
Bobby Berk Home is open to the public and is located at 8884 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles.
Arteriors opening Los Angeles showroom and storefront
Los Angeles - Arteriors is opening its first Los Angeles area showroom and storefront in the La Cienega Design Quarter in late fall. The 1,800-sq.-ft. space, located at 8620 Melrose Ave., will showcase key pieces of Arteriors lighting, furniture and accessories.
"Los Angeles is an inspiring city with a fantastic design community," said Mark Moussa, founder and creative director of Arteriors. "This showroom will be a jewel box of curated items tailored to the design-minded individuals of California and will really showcase the unique product Arteriors has to offer."
The curated selection will include Arteriors-designed lighting, occasional furniture and decorative accessories along with pieces from collaborations with designers Barry Dixon and Laura Kirar. Lamps from Mottega by Arteriors, an online customizable lamp program, will also be displayed.
Vietri opens third Belk boutique
Flowood, Miss. - Vietri, an importer of fine Italian hand-crafted dinnerware, flatware, glassware, linens, garden and decorative accessories, opened its third Vietri Boutique at Belk on Oct. 2. The boutique is located on the second floor of Belk in Dogwood Festival Market and Promenade in Flowood, Miss.
The boutique showcases the largest selection of Vietri in the area, including tabletop collections, garden, home and wall décor.
"We began our partnership with Belk over a decade ago," said Susan Gravely, Vietri founder and CEO. "As Vietri is based in Hillsborough, N.C., we are pleased to have such a longstanding relationship with another North Carolina-based company, and such a reputable one at that.

Luxury Living opens New York showroom
New York - Luxury Living, the exclusive retailer of Fendi Casa, opened a new showroom at 153 Madison Ave. and 32nd Street in early October. The 11,836-sq.-ft. space is the third U.S. showroom for the Milan-based company.
About 60% of the space will house Fendi Casa products from the brand's new contemporary line, such as Soho, Metropolitan, Agadir and Serengeti, and best-selling pieces such as the Diamante bed, Bernini dining table and Prestige sofa.
The showroom will also feature other Luxury Living brands including Ambiente Cucina, Bentley Home, Kenzo Maison and Luxury Living Interiors.
Jacksonville, Fla. - Stein Mart launched an online store in September at steinmart.com. Like the retailer's brick-and-mortar locations, the online store carries apparel and home décor, including soft goods, rugs, decorative accessories and tabletop.

New Canaan, Conn. - The Glass House Design Store opened in September at 199 Elm St. here. The store carries a selection of furniture, accessories, books and gifts.
"Inspired by ‘Machine Art,' a legendary exhibition organized by Philip Johnson for the Museum of Modern Art in 1934, the Glass House Design Store celebrates Johnson's curatorial vision through its rigorous offering," according to the store's website.
Northville, Mich. - Salvaged opened in September at 133 W. Main St., Suite 200, at Northville Square here. The store carries vintage and refurbished furniture and accents, as well as gift items.
Lexington, Mass. - A Pocketful of Posies opened in September at 1656 Mass Ave. here. The store carries home décor, gifts, clothing and jewelry.
Evanston, Ill. - Amy Boone opened Dragonfly in September at 1309 Chicago Ave. The store carries new and vintage furniture and accessories, as well as clothing and jewelry.
Tampa, Fla. - West Elm opened a new store in September at 700 South Village Circle in Hyde Park Village. The 8,792-sq.-ft. store is the lifestyle retailer's seventh Florida location. West Elm's home accents offerings include accent furniture, rugs, lighting, soft goods, wall décor and decorative accessories.
Norman, Okla. - Homegoods opened a 25,000-sq.-ft. store in September at University Town Center here, located at 24th Ave. NW and Rock Creek Road. The discount retailer's home accents offerings include accent furniture, lighting, rugs, wall décor, soft goods and decorative accessories.
Afton, Minn. - 3:17 Vintage Furniture & Home Décor opened in August at 3192 St. Croix Trail. The store, located in a 1,500-sq.-ft. two-story house, sells repurposed and custom-built furniture and accessories.
Halifax, Nova Scotia - Canadian home décor retailer Linen Chest opened its first Nova Scotia location in September at 187 Chain Lake Drive. The 13,000-sq.-ft. store carries furniture, soft goods, rugs, lighting, wall décor, tabletop, gifts, kitchenware and bath accessories.
Omaha, Neb. - Magpie opened this month at Rockbrook Village here, located at 2418 S. 110 Court. The 1,500-sq.-ft. store carries home accessories from brands such as Alessi.
Houston - Z Gallerie opened its fourth Houston-area store in September in Citycentre Houston, located at 1818 Town & Country Blvd. The retail chain's home accents offerings include accent furniture, wall décor, lighting, rugs, soft goods and decorative accessories.
Birmingham, Mich. - Denmark-based retailer Bo Concept is opening a new store here this month at 670 S. Old Woodward Ave. Bo Concept carries contemporary furniture, rugs, lighting, wall décor, soft goods, decorative accessories and tabletop.
