Kichler Lighting has announced the hiring of Eric Borden as national sales manager. Borden will be responsible for the leadership, planning and execution of all sales strategies and programs related to Kichler's dealer channel.
Borden joins Kichler with 33 years of sales, marketing and product development experience in the lighting industry. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing for Enterprise Lighting Sales, a commercial and residential lighting sales agency in New York.
"Eric's extensive background in sales and management, coupled with his passion for product training and education, make him a credible and valuable information resource to both our sales team and customers," said David Pamer, Kichler's vice president of sales.
Previously, Borden held vice president positions for Sea Gull Lighting's product management team and Ambiance Lighting Systems. He also served as northeast regional sales manager for Sea Gull Lighting and Juno Lighting, and has held various sales and management positions with Halo Lighting earlier in his career. Borden has managed several lighting showrooms in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. As an instructor, Borden was instrumental in developing landscape lighting and other lighting systems training curricula through interactive, hands-on teaching methodologies.
Borden is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and serves as the current chairperson of the education committee for the American Lighting Association (ALA). Borden is also accredited as a lighting specialist with the ALA.
Other recent additions and changes to Kichler's sales staff include:
