Uttermost acquires Berkeley-based Timeworks

Uttermost has acquired Timeworks, Inc., a Berkeley, Calif.-based company and maker of innovative clocks.

"I've been a fan of Timeworks for many years, and could not be more excited to offer this productTimeworks 1 to our customers," said Uttermost CEO Mac Cooper. "Uttermost is continuing almost the entire Timeworks assortment from 2010, along with new timeworks introductions at the January markets.

Cooper said Timeworks' founders are taking the lead in product design and development to grow the line "substantially from where it is today."

Timeworks co-founder John Kowalski, said, "We are so proud that the Timeworks name and product development will continue, and the brand could not have found a better home than Uttermost. It's a wonderful and natural fit and we look forward to helping Uttermost build the brand in the months and years ahead."

The Timeworks product line is being shown this month in Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, and New York, in the Uttermost showrooms.
