Balta U.S., the North American division of the Belgian parent company Balta, is launching two major collections, among other introductions.

Representing a new category for the company in terms of construction, Shimmer comprises 36 trendy designs.
The second new collection is titled Antique and is also made in a 1-million-point per square meter construction. To give an "old world" feel to these rugs and make them look handmade, these machine-made varieties were intentionally distressed, aged and dotted with strategically placed imperfections to mimic vintage rugs.
Balta is also showing two new wool collections. They are Afghan and Classical, and both are made of 100% New Zealand wool and don the "Wool Mark" logo.
Balta is adding a new 1.5-million-point collection called Palace to its U.S. line.
And the company has several other introductions being shown, including a new shag titled Design Shag, three new colors to its Super Shag collection, and an eight-foot round and two new colorways to its Patio collection.
