Phoenix Art Company, Marcella Ravell ink deal

Phoenix Art Company has signed an agreement with designer and decorator Marcella Ravell to act as a trend-spotter for the company.

Ravell, with more than 30 years of experience as a home fashion expert, will now be a design consultant for this American-owned and operated and China-based manufacturer of home decor products. Phoenix Art Company will now have her to be their "eyes and ears as she attends trade conventions, seminars and specifying venues worldwide," according to a press release from the company. She will be able to take the design pulse of the market and report her findings to Phoenix Art to ensure that the company is ahead of the curve with regard to design and color trends.

"Design is as seasonal and renewable as fashion and the clientele depends on the professionals to dictate what is both trendy and lasting," Ravell said. "With the technological speed of lighting, color palettes move across the globe. Therefore, it is a continuing process for the design professional to observe, educate and create."

"Having Marcella Ravell working with us be a tremendous asset to our customers," said Michael Kraft, chairman and founder. "It will allow us to provide the most fashion forward and saleable products."
