Surya sponsors ‘Think Pink' campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the remainder of October, 10% of proceeds from the sale of 20 pink Surya products will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to foster education and research in the fight against breast cancer.
It is estimated that each year, more than 230,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 40,000 will die, making breast cancer the country's second leading cause of death among women.
"Most everyone knows someone who has been impacted by breast cancer in some way - either personally or through a family member, friend or colleague," said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. "We are proud to join many other organizations across the nation in the fight to someday soon make the term ‘breast cancer' obsolete."
