Chelsea House will unveil the Lisa Kahn Collection of accent furniture, mirrors, art, lighting and decorative accessories at the High Point Market this month.
Lisa Kahn, a well-known designer based in Naples, Fla., designed the eponymous collection with Chelsea House. Kahn, who owns Kahn Design Group and does both residential and commercial design, is known for her fresh take on traditional, classic and serene interiors, according to a press release.
"We could not be more excited," said Bill Cain, Chelsea House. "From our initial meetings with Lisa, to the first design sketches through to the manufacturing of the products, the collection has surpassed our expectations at each stage. Lisa's unique talent and acumen for what inspires are incredible and she has a sixth sense on making spaces sing. In addition, she is a lovely person and a great collaborator."
The collection will be shown together in Chelsea House's High Point showroom at 200 N. Hamilton. Kahn helped design the company's entire showroom.
"I am thrilled and honored to be working with Chelsea House," Kahn said. "Chelsea House is a line I have loved for years because of its timeless elegance and beautiful details. My hope is that I can bring new looks while retaining the company's tradition of excellence."
The collection features different motifs including architecture, tracery, reflections, classic gilt, blossoms and birds, according to a press release. Materials used include antique mirror, metal, silk, wood and sea glass. Celtic knots, organic florals, branch patterns, birds and quatrefoil designs appear throughout the collection.
Chelsea House will host a meet-and-greet cocktail party with Kahn in the company's showroom on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 4-6 p.m.
