Made in the USA product see resurgence

Industry Roundup: America, Naturally

Angela Heck -- Home Accents Today, August 18, 2010

Not long ago, there was some backlash against products advertised as Made in the USA, some sources tell Home Accents Today. The general consensus was that domestically produced items were overpriced and not measurably better than their Asian-made counterparts. That trend has done a bit of an about face, though. As consumers begin actively searching for home accents that are made state-side, retailers follow suit. This summer, bring stylized flora and fauna motifs inside. Mix sophisticated lines and a breezy laid-back attitude for a Made in the USA look that just comes naturally. - Angela Labrecque
