Global Views will debut its New York showroom this summer in the New York Design Center.
The company's first corporate showroom in New York will host its grand opening Aug. 13 in conjunction with the New York International Gift Fair. There will be an opening party from 2-7 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
The New York Design Center at 200 Lexington is the country's oldest design building and is home to some of the most important design brands in the country.
"When we decided to come to New York, we knew we needed to be at the Design Center," said David Gebhart, company president and CEO. "The quality and style of our exclusive designs are complemented by the NYDC environment. We are excited at the opportunities New York provides.
"As Global Views has expanded its product lines to include more furniture and lamps, we have been delighted at the enthusiastic response from interior designers to our look," Gebhart said.
The 4,000-sq.-ft. showroom, located in space 613, will be staffed by Global Views and open year-round. "This showroom will allow our New-York area customers to shop us year-round and all our customers to see us during the New York shows," Gebhart said.
The Dallas-based Global Views has showrooms in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, High Point, Las Vegas and New York.
