Elk Group International Acquires Lazy Susan USA

Elk Group International has acquired Lazy Susan USA. The acquisition, through Elk's sister company, Mount Summit Lighting, was finalized on Nov. 1.

Lazy Susan, known for its design-driven product assortment, further enhances Elk's market penetration within the decorative accessories arena, according to a press release from Elk.

"Lazy Susan is a well-respected company with leading-edge designs, which, coupled with our current infrastructure, builds upon our leading market position," said John Haste, Elk Group's vice president of sales and marketing.

Lazy Susan's product offering of decorative accessories, mirrors, wall art, lighting and accent furniture aligns with the current product assortment within the Elk Group of brands, which include Dimond, Sterling, Bailey Street and Elk Lighting, among others.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lazy Susan will retain its permanent showroom location in Atlanta's Americasmart, Building 2, ninth floor. Other decisions about showrooms and staff have not been finalized. Please check HomeAccentsToday.com for more on this developing story.
