Habersham's Market Square showroom undergoes complete renovation
New layout to be unveiled at Spring 2010 High Point market

Habersham will unveil a completely redesigned and renovated showroom at the April 2010 High Point Market. The new layout of the space (Market Square 142) is designed to better showcase Habersham’s versatile hand-styled line and growing custom capabilities in the furniture, kitchen, bath and dressing room cabinetry arenas, along with the company’s latest introductions.
“Our line has grown significantly in recent years as we’ve added custom cabinetry for the kitchen, dressing room and bath, new residential furniture designs, upholstery and an expanded palette of finish options. And, as the line has grown, so too have our customization capabilities,” said Habersham President Matt Eddy. “The new showroom configuration visually communicates the transitional nature of our line – demonstrating how designers and homeowners can use our versatile designs, finishes and other custom options to create or complete virtually any design environment they seek – from formal to contemporary to casual.”
Designed by Barbara Garrison of High Point, N.C.-based Dalton and Associates, the space now opens with a New York loft environment, where contemporary art and modern, eclectic accessories are merchandised with Habersham furniture, upholstery and a galley kitchen cabinetry design.
Moving through the space, the next section reflects the look and feel of the open-air Paris antique markets -- filled with antiques, architectural elements and other accessories. This area will feature Habersham’s grand scale and accent pieces in a variety of decorated and hand-styled finishes, all merchandised among accessories reflecting a wide range of decorating and design styles.
The showroom will also feature a new design center area with generous work space and tables, surrounded by easy-access racks showcasing all of Habersham’s finish options, fabric swatches, catalogs and other planning tools. Also included are two new kitchen displays and a new master bath display highlighting the company’s custom cabinetry.
Celebrating more than 37 years in business, Toccoa, Ga.-based Habersham Furniture Company manufactures hand-painted and styled showpiece reproductions, original copyrighted furniture designs and custom cabinetry.
