Montaage has partnered with Doug Wilson to launch the Doug's Finds Collection, based on the celebrity designer's personal style.
The collection will debut at the October International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C.
The line will include more than 100 pieces of wall decor, vases, chargers, accent tables and boxes in three distinct collections.
Paradox accentuates the contrast of black and white, with a hint of pale blue, and details in the pieces include mouth-blown glass, silver leaf accents, graphic, hand-painted wall accents and hand carved Rococo designs.
Cheeky Tiki has a global feel with designs ranging from rich wood tables to sleek accents combined with antique wood-block elements.
Perspectives is Wilson's take on the extreme jungle motif with large over-scale pieces.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Doug," said Mary Taylor, president. "His sophisticated, savvy designs provide countless sources of inspiration for our customers. And his wide appeal and celebrated appearance on hit TV series like Trading Spaces and Moving Up also offer strong sales and marketing opportunities for the line at the retail level."
Wilson will make a guest appearance in the Montaage showroom, IHFC #324, Friday, Oct. 21, from 2–6 p.m. and sign copies of his new book, Doug's Rooms.
"I want to offer people design techniques and tools that are 'doable' and easily accessible," Wilson said. "By working with a leading home accent company like Montaage, together we'll be able to help homeowners express their own sense of style with a wide range of fun and fabulous accents for virtually any room."
Wilson is a designer, author and TV celebrity on shows like Trading Spaces, Moving Up and America's Ugliest. Aside from his new book, he also writes a design column in InTouch Weekly.
We would love your feedback!
