Pacific Rim to debut new angels line

Pacific Rim Import is introducing a line of angel statues designed by Timothy Matt at the summer markets.
The garden angels are inspirational and offer a natural, organic feeling, the designer said. They range in size from 10 to 45 inches and are built on the themes of grace, harmony and peace.
Matt said his concept for the angel line was his feeling there "needs to be cross-merchandising between gift lines and Christian lines. There is a great divide now between the two."
Matt, who lives in China, was a retailer in Highlands, N.C., for 16 years and a customer of Pacific Rim. He said he plans to expand the 45-SKU line to tabletop, frames and what he calls "dreams, hopes and wishes vessels."
The angels will debut at the Atlanta and Las Vegas markets this month.
