Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries' leading charitable organization, announced today that Randy Eller will be honored with the Gift For Life Industry Achievement Award.Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries' leading charitable organization, announced today that Randy Eller will be honored with the Gift For Life Industry Achievement Award during the Gifts & Decorative Accessories 59th Annual Retailer Excellence Awards, taking place in August 2010 in New York City.

Eller’s association with the gift and home industry began with 10 years of retail management for a 20-location variety store chain headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn. In 1982, he became a salesperson with Russ Berrie & Company advancing to vice president of marketing for Russ Berrie South. He is perhaps best known for his accomplishments and guidance of CBK, an importer and wholesaler of home decor.  Randy joined CBK in 1988 as the first company-employed salesperson. He subsequently became the president and a partner in the business in 1995. Eller was instrumental in the many changes that brought CBK to the forefront of its industry and positioned the company in 2002 for sale to Blyth, Inc.

Currently, he operates Eller Enterprises, of Franklin, Tenn., which he founded in 2004. Eller Enterprises is a consulting firm serving companies and individuals primarily within the home accent, furniture, and giftware industries. Eller Enterprises also offers personal executive coaching, professional speaking, and mergers and acquisitions advice to clients in a variety of industries.  Additionally, Eller has served as board member for the Accessories Resource Team; is a current member of the Gift and Home Trade Association, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, and the National Speakers Association; and is a columnist for Home Accents Today.

“Randy’s leadership over more than two decades has made him both successful and respected,” said Jenny Hammons, chair of the Gift for Life board.  “We are proud to honor a person who stands tall as a generous spirit who personifies the best qualities of our industry.”

In addition to the Industry Achievement Award, Gift for Life hosts regional events throughout the United States and a national fundraiser in New York City during the N.Y. International Gift Fair. Funds benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
