Licensed line to debut in June

-- Home Accents Today, 5/1/2008 12:00:00 AM

Imax has partnered with The Trump Organization to create an exclusive collection of home accessories and room decor, debuting this summer.

Trump Home room decor will launch in June at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and in July at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and the Las Vegas Market.

Trump Home room decor designs include candleholders, vases, lidded boxes, centerpieces, wall decor items and other decorative pieces.

The line includes more than 160 SKUs that have been created to complement the existing Trump Home Collection, which includes furniture, rugs and lighting.

“The expansion of Trump Home into home accessories and room decor reflects the great success and the phenomenal response to the Trump Home brand,” said Cathy Hoffman Glosser, executive vice president of global licensing for The Trump Organization. “The collection gives the consumer the ability to create a coordinated lifestyle, incorporating luxury and sophistication in their homes. Trump Home room decor is an integral part of the Trump Home collection.”

Trump Home room decor was inspired by the mansions and properties owned by Donald J. Trump.

The Westchester collection incorporates rich, classic elements to create grand appeal. The Central Park collection reflects a Manhattan lifestyle with metropolitan, modern, sophisticated design with a touch of Art Deco.

John Haste, Imax vice president of sales, said he is excited about the opportunities he believes will come from this partnership.

“The Trump brand is sophisticated, strong and has a wide acceptance in a variety of consumer categories,” he said. “Imax is equally as strong in product and distribution expertise. Together our two organizations bring to the table a dynamic formula for success.”

Trump Home has existing home licenses with Lexington Furniture, Elk Lighting and Miresco Rugs.

Imax is debuting its other licensed line with designer Carolyn Kinder also this summer.
