OneCoast names Thompson new VP

OneCoast has named Paul Thompson to the newly created position of vice president of visual merchandising and trends.
Thompson will be responsible for creating and executing visual merchandising strategies for OneCoast showrooms and identifying product trends for customers. He will also be active in identifying and distributing information about industry trends.
"Our retailers tell us that visually exciting showrooms, full of well-merchandised new product displays, are a major reason they attend shows," said Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast, a national team of sales representatives for the giftware and home furnishings industries, "We are investing in making our showrooms 'must-see destinations' for retailers by hiring Paul to our team."
Thompson was visual merchandising director for eight years with Department 56. Most recently, he was director of trend & visual merchandising for The Pfaltzgraff Company.
OneCoast maintains showrooms in seven market centers around the country.
