CMI to debut Woolrich Collection of braided rugs

CMI Will roll out the licensed Woolrich Collection of braided rugs at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market in January. The company joins a family of licensees including Lexington Home Brands, Shady Lady, Southern Textiles and Zrike.
"Our braided-texture rugs are an American original, based on traditions dating back to the Pilgrims, but now feature updated, popular styling, design and materials," said Donald M. Scarlata, president and CEO of CMI. "We're confident this partnership is a good fit as Woolrich is also a classic, authentic American brand that continues to successfully update their products to appeal to today's consumer."
The Timeless Retreat Collection will feature an assortment of designs in earthy colors such as loden, deepwater, redwood, bark and carbon, fashioned of alternating flat and corded woven fabric.
The collection will be aimed at specialty rug and flooring retailers as well as furniture stores, selected flooring/home furnishing chains and catalogs. A 5×7 area rug will retail for $599.
