The Ernest Hemingway Collection will debut its first collection of outdoor area rugs at the October High Point Market.
The rugs, designed by Loloi Rugs of Dallas, are manufactured using a new technology to enhance durability for prolonged outdoor use in all climates. The five to seven rugs in the collection will feature nature-inspired patterns in transitional designs and subtle colorways.

“We’ve been searching for some time for a partner to create outdoor rugs for the Ernest Hemingway Collection. But frankly, we were unimpressed with the quality and styling of other products on the market,” said Marla A. Metzner, president of Fashion Licensing of America, Inc., the licensing agent for the Ernest Hemingway Collection.
“Loloi Rugs has been working on a new technology for an outdoor collection that anyone would be proud to put indoors,” she said. “We love that our first foray into outdoor rugs will also offer consumers something new in the marketplace.”
While most outdoor rugs are backed with hemp or jute, natural fibers that break down or deteriorate over time, the outdoor rugs from the Ernest Hemingway Collection are hand hooked with a special yarn and a have a webbed backing to withstand the elements. They are also UV protected and waterproofed.
The new collection will debut during the High Point Market in the Loloi Rugs showroom at 224 E. Kivett Drive.
We would love your feedback!
