Coast to Coast unveils Jadu, expands Vegas showroom

ACCENT FURNITURE specialist Coast to Coast is launching the Jadu Collection this week.

Jadu is named using the Hindi word for "magic," according to David Macintosh, one of the company's co-owners. He described the line as "extremely rustic," and said it uses exotic hardwoods such as mango, rosewood and sheesham, as well as having a reclaimed component through the use of old colonialera Indian railroad ties.

"We are making the magic happen again," he told Home Accents Today. "We are very, very excited about the product itself."

Jadu’s designs are rustic in nature, but address various style segments in the marketplace.

The line is being warehoused by Coast to Coast, so the company can support non-container-full orders for the product, something that Macintosh said was lacking in this look at this price point.

Jadu includes accent tables, credenzas, sideboards and other occasional pieces. Prices range from $199 to $1,199 retail, with "quite a bit of product in the sweet spot, $599 to $699 range," Macintosh said.

The new line, as well as 40 new pieces in the regular Coast to Coast line, will be on display at the Las Vegas Market in a newly expanded showroom. Located in Building A, space 316, the Coast to Coast showroom has been expanded by 6,000 square feet.
