New trade show to launch for window coverings industry
May 25, 2011,
The Window Coverings Association of America is hosting Inspire 2011, its first trade show and educational conference, which will be held at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Ky. from Sept. 7-10.
"We want to make it easy and affordable for vendors to attend, so we've structured Inspire 2011 as an all-inclusive ‘package' event," said Jenna Abbott, WCAA's executive director. "The package features booth space, hotel accommodations, meals and gala dinner tickets. We've also offered preferential pricing to our industry partners as recognition for their longstanding support."
In addition to separately scheduled workshops in design, fabrication and business marketing taught by top professionals, an interactive demonstration area will highlight exhibitors' products from the show floor.
"We're also delighted to have engaged designer Sarah Richardson as our keynote speaker," said Abbott. "She is the popular host and co-producer of ‘Sarah's House' and ‘Design Inc.' on HGTV and our members love her. She's proving to be a great draw."
