“As part of JPMA’s comprehensive strategic plan, it is our goal to establish JPMA as the industry’s complete information hub and position the organization as the undisputed authority for safety assurance,” said Greg Mansker, JPMA chairman. “This initiative drives a continual review of programs and brand recognition to accomplish our goals.”
The JPMA Certification Seal has begun to establish credibility among the juvenile products community and consumers so it was important to keep the familiarity but create an improved, updated and more modern version of the current seal. The new logo accomplishes this goal while keeping up with the demands of the industry and today’s parents. The colors are bright and the shape is similar and ensures continual product label placement. Also the softer design of the mom and baby image is fresh and modern.
This is the first logo redesign since the program’s inception in 1976. The JPMA Certification Program continues to grow and play an important role in the juvenile products industry with more than 2,000 JPMA Certified products in 20 categories.
The JPMA Certified seal is a symbol of confidence to parents that the products have gone through an extra set of rigorous testing and met high performance standards. And while the seal may look different, the mission remains the same – JPMA is proud to provide a certification program that demands only the best in quality, safety and performance. JPMA urges all parents and caregivers to look for the seal when purchasing juvenile products for added assurance that the product was built with safety in mind.
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. These companies manufacture and/or import infant products such as cribs, car seats, strollers, bedding, and a wide range of accessories and decorative items.
