Former Big Fish, New Century execs launch new wall décor company

Melissa van hise and Stan Terry, formerly with Big Fish Art and New Century Picture Corp., respectively, announced the creation of their new company, Iconic Pineapple.
     Named for the inspirational design element that symbolizes warmth and goodwill, Iconic Pineapple operates as both an artwork publisher and manufacturer. Many of the pieces will utilize the company's proprietary Color match program, which enables printing exactly to color specifications, according to the announcement.
     The company's wall décor collections include all of the original Big Fish pieces along with more than 1,000 new additions.
     Terry served as president and chief operating officer of New Century Picture through August 2012. Van Hise was founder and creative entity behind Big Fish Art for 24 years. She served as the company's CEO until September 2012.
     The company is based in Wheeling, Ill.
