Thanks to the strong early performance by its pillow collection, Loloi added a director of textiles to its operations.
Sandra Standefer, a veteran of two decades in the industry, joined Dallas based Loloi as its new director of textiles. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing sales and operations of the company's textile categories, supporting Loloi with branding and showroom events and helping plan and coordinate Loloi's market presence. She reports to CEO Amir Loloi.
"Sandra is a dynamic and innovative merchandiser with an in-depth knowledge of home furnishings marketing," Loloi said. "We are encouraged to see the success and growth of our line of pillows, and feel very lucky to have Sandra on board as part of the Loloi team."
Before joining Loloi, Standefer served as the vice president of marketing at HFI Brands. She launched and directed the marketing and brand development efforts for not only HFI Brands, but for each brand company they represented, including Lilly Pulitzer Home, Barclay Butera Lifestyle, Hotel Maison and Peoploungers.
Prior to her role at HFI, Standefer held various marketing roles at The Home Company, where she was twice recognized with the ARTS Award for Accessory Merchandising. She introduced the company to marketing in the digital age, co-developing The Home Company's website while creating all of the company's print materials.
She was also brand manager for Barbara Barry Realized by Henredon, Barry's launch of home furnishings and decorative accessories. While there, Standefer was responsible for the product development, marketing materials, showroom presentation and sales.
Standefer graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor of science in interior design.
