Sales from the grand opening of Westside Modern, which specializes in mid-century modern furnishings, benefitted the Atlanta Humane Society.
Atlanta - Westside Modern, a store specializing in mid-century modern furnishings, held its grand opening Jan. 23 at 876 Huff Road in Atlanta's Design District.

"The grand opening is an opportunity to celebrate Westside Modern and support a wonderful cause with prospective and current clients," said Tonya Beach, owner and curator of Westside Modern. "A lot of people have already stopped by to welcome us to the neighborhood and seem to be thrilled that someone finally rescued this building."
Westside Modern carries a variety of new and vintage furniture, lighting, wall décor, rugs and accessories. According to the release, "Furniture from American designers will be found among the works of Percival Lafer of Brazil, antique Khotan rugs from Turkistan, and contemporary designers like Patricia Urquiola. The offerings at Westside Modern will change frequently, with different furnishings arriving directly from Denmark."
