Decor Mentor team up with High Point Market for Twitter chat

New products, market tips included in online discussion

The High Point Market Authority and Decor Mentor will co-host a global Twitter Chat at 6 p.m. on March 12 to preview new products for the April 5-10 High Point Market.

The Twitter chat gives vendors a platform to show customers a preview of their products before they debut in April.

"The Twitter Chat is designed to show sneak peeks of new products debuting at High Point Market in April, and creates an opportunity for vendors to engage with potential clients," said Decor Mentor founder Lisa Ferguson. "It is a chance like no other, to be the first to see what is debuting at Spring High Point Market, before it goes global."

High Point Market exhibitors can submit two JPG photos of their new products debuting at the Market to Decor Mentor. Submissions are due to Shayamala Miller at by 5 p.m. March 6 and must include the exhibitor's name, the showroom space, the product name/number and a description of the product. Image submissions can only sent here through To submit photos login with the email address, and use the password "22TwitterChat." Images must have the file name posted as the company name and the product name/number.

The Decor Mentor (@decormentor) team will curate a collection of their top choices for the Twitter chat, using the official High Point Market hashtag #hpmkt. In addition to previewing the new products, the team will discuss new home design trends, tips for market and upcoming events.

All product photos that are submitted for the chat, even those not chosen for the collection, will be featured on the High Point Market's Pinterest page in a special Sneak Peek Pinterest board. The link for the Pinterest boards will be posted on Twitter during the chat.
