Nikki Chu Home for Imax to debut this summer
June 2, 2014,
The Nikki Chu Home for Imax Collection will debut at the 2014 summer markets.
Chu’s design aesthetic is sleek and serene, with touches of glamour. Her interiors are accented by distinctive pieces, eclectic finds and “an innate sense of timeless style.” Her debut collection for Imax features metallics accented with black and white, and shades of gold, silver, copper and bronze combined in matte, shiny and ombre finishes.
According to a statement from Imax, the designs are inspired by ornate vintage silhouettes and feature quilting techniques, pyramid studs and chain accents drawn from Chu’s passion for high fashion. The elements of the collection are combined to create an edgy, modern statement, but when featured individually or in smaller groupings are versatile for use in a variety of settings.
Of the new partnership, Rex Yoakley, vice president of sales for Imax, said, “We are extremely excited about our newest collaboration. Nikki fuses her design talents and extensive industry experience with an obsession for fashion to create an ‘affordable luxury lifestyle’ collection unique to Imax.”
