San Francisco International Gift Fair gets new name, website
August 7, 2015,
The San Francisco International Gift Fair unveiled a new name and a new website during the July 25-28 show at Moscone Center.
The show has been renamed SF Market to “better communicate the scope and depth of its product categories that cater to the Northern California lifestyle and passion for living well,” according to a press release. The new website is now live at www.sf-market.com.
More than 113 new companies made their debut at the summer market, which included thousands of lines organized into 11 product sectors: Design, Gift, Home & Garden, Makers' Market, Museum, Personal Style, Tabletop, Gourmet & Housewares, Treasures to Go, Village Arts and Vintage Collection. The show's new Pairings spotlight focused on gourmet specialties and accessories, wine resources and regional food items, and an Outdoor Living section offered a selection of outdoor furniture and accessories.
Attending retailers voted on a number of exhibitor product awards during the show. Winners included Moshiki of St. Paul, Minn., for Best New Product; Lau Lau Woodworks of Honolulu for Best Maker; and Mercantile 12 of Seattle for Best Pairings Product. The Urban Expositions team presented Roost with the new Best Booth award, recognizing the company's excellence in merchandising and space design.
