July 6, 2010 -- Dimond Lighting is debuting its Americasmart showroom next week at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. Dimond's 1,600-sq.-ft. showroom is on the the 12th floor of Building 1 in showroom 12-C-7, joining the growing number of showrooms presenting premium portable lamps, lighting and accessories in the HOME center.
John Haste, vice president of Dimond (a division of E.L.K. Lighting) said the new showroom is a strategic and necessary move. "Dimond's strategic approach is simply customer-centric; to provide products and customer services to furniture stores, designers and other home/lifestyle companies in helping them adapt to changing consumer buying patterns. AmericasMart helps us accomplish this strategy by offering one of the world's largest destinations for home product, providing a unique platform for us to increase the offerings within current categories and in expanding into new categories."
Currently, the HOME center houses nearly 100 companies that feature lamps and lighting, including Currey & Company, Uttermost, Stylecraft Lamps, Luna Bella, Bobo Intriguing Objects and Solaria. Supplementing the product in the permanent showrooms are the extensive portable lamps and lighting offerings in the Market Temporaries across the High Design, Home Furnishings, Home Accents and Handcrafted categories.
"Because of our position in the home industry and the diverse collections we offer to our international base of buyers, we are attracting new, forward-thinking companies like Dimond to Americasmart," said Karen Greaber, Americasmart's VP of home furnishings and fine linens. "Dimond further strengthens the already solid HOME category that we have built over the last 60 years. We are looking forward to offering their dynamic products at market starting this July and to accredited members of the design community between markets."
We would love your feedback!
