Barclay Butera Interiors celebrates opening of new retail showroom

LOS ANGELES -- Barclay Butera Interiors opened a new showroom January 12th in West Hollywood.

A spokesperson for Butera said the interior/lifestyle designer played host to a large gathering of fans, press and A-listers, serving "swinging tunes, cocktails and canapés," in the new location, his second in Los Angeles. Butera's flagship retail/design showroom is in Newport Beach, and he operates a fourth showroom in Park City, Utah that caters to sophisticated mountain living.

The new showroom, located at 918 N. La Cienega Blvd., is smaller and more intimate than Butera's North LaBrea location and, with less of a focus on retail, is intended to provide more privacy for his interior design clientele.

"Often times with celebrities and moguls there is a demand for the utmost discretion and privacy," Butera said. "These clients will now enjoy a very on-brand setting to meet and review projects. The new location, open to the public, will also showcase home décor, art, lighting, furniture and accessories from the Barclay Butera Lifestyle collection, developed to provide "aspirational design at attainable prices."

Offered at the upper end of Butera's better-best design agenda is Barclay Butera Home, a couture brand offering fine bench-made upholstery and case goods, distributed through over 300 retailers and designers throughout the country.

The Barclay Butera Lifestyle collection features Butera's fabric and rug designs for Kravet, wall art for Wendover Art Group, lighting for Bradburn Lighting Gallery, and candles/home fragrance for Zodax. This spring, Butera will add a line of outdoor textiles for Kravet, a collection of decorative accessories with Zodax, and a high-end bedding program with Eastern Accents.
