2017 ARTS Awards winners announced

Gala honors manufacturers, retailers, designers, sales reps

The 28th annual ARTS Awards took place Friday night at a gala event at the Dallas Hilton Anatole. Awards were given out to some of the home furnishings industry’s top performers in retail, design, manufacturing and sales.

The ARTS Awards are hosted by ART, the creative home furnishings network, and Dallas Market Center.

Connie Lineberry received the organization’s first-ever Legendary Leadership Award. Lineberry retired last year from Home Accents Today's parent company, Progressive Business Media, where she was executive vice president of brand creative services. The Legendary Leadership Award honors an individual who has not only achieved esteemed recognition from industry peers, but who has also led the home industry with passion, and whose dedication has helped hundreds of companies succeed.

Mark Phillips, founder and president of Greensboro, N.C.-based Phillips Collection, was honored with the Academy of Achievement Award. The Academy of Achievement honoree is selected each year by the ARTS Awards Committee in order to recognize significant contributions to the industry.
