Feizy Rugs names Sweary VP of sales

DALLAS — Feizy Rugs has announced the hiring of Dale Sweary as vice president of sales. Sweary will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of and overseeing the growth of Feizy's national account base.

Sweary began his career in the rug industry with Shaw, in 1989. He worked as regional manager and group director for Shaw Living, the area rug division of Shaw Industries. Most recently, he worked as western division manager for builder, property management and multi-family at Beaulieu of America. Sweary had a brief tenure with Feizy Rugs in 2007, but left due to family commitments, according to a press release. Sweary also has experience in retail.

"Joining Feizy provides me opportunities to utilize my experience and to further our position in the marketplace with a strategic growth plan," Sweary said. "We will continue to enhance our relationships within the segments we serve and stay customer focused with product leadership and overall service."

Sweary reports to Cameron Feizy, senior vice president.

"Dale's team building and leadership abilities and high standard of customer service will be a great asset to the Feizy Rugs team," Feizy said. "We know we will benefit from his progressive ideas and passion for the business."
