Crypton bringing canine comfort to High Point

Therapy dogs visiting the Steelyard Designer Lounge at Universal

Crypton Pooch Pop-UpWeary market-goers can take a break for a little puppy love at the Crypton Pooch Pop-Up during the spring High Point Market.

Therapy dogs from Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Fostering Friendship will be on hand from 2-5 p.m. April 22 and 23 in the Steelyard Designer’s Lounge at Universal Furniture.

Crypton will donate $5 to Fostering Friendship for those who post a photo with one of the pups on social media using the hashtag #PoochPopUp and tag @CryptonFabric.

“We’re thrilled to give people a few moments of peace and calm that only a happy dog and a comfy chair can offer. Supporting the Fostering Friendship Therapy Dog teams is an added bonus,” said Randy Rubin, dog enthusiast and Crypton founder and vice chairman.

The event will also feature dog bone-shaped “human treats,” dirty Bark-tinis, sweet “Pom-eranian” pomegranate cocktails, and an interactive stain station where guests can test the mettle of Crypton performance fabrics using black coffee, red wine, crayons and more.
