Natural Inspiration

Furniture designer Brian Fireman crafts refined works like the Karnali lounge chair for Bespoke Global, an online marketplace for custom furnishings launched in May. By hand-carving his pieces, Fireman allows the wood's natural characteristics to influence his design. The resulting sleek, creative take on modern aesthetic permeates throughout the work of Bespoke Global's collection of artisans.

Saturated Forest

Ludovica and Roberto Palomba pursue a study of nature reinterpreted with the Birdie lamp collection for Foscarini. The Birdie lamp's stand envisions a young sapling with a single branch protruding for a bird's perch. The lacquered steel stand and polycarbonate diffuser receives a modern makeover with bold monochromatic colors, available in orange, white, gray and amaranth.

Damask Delights

Rarely does a towel demonstrate high design, making Fresco Towels all the more unique. The family-run producer of luxury home accessories makes all of its towels in the United States from long-staple Turkish cotton. Quality dyes and pre-washed, pre-shrunk processes ensure the product's vibrantly colored damask patterns endure.

Midnight Fire

Celebrating its one-year anniversary, Tania Johnson Design has launched the Reflected Light Collection of rugs. Each made-to-order rug is hand-knotted in Nepal of wool and silk in the company's signature low-pile design. The collection's design delves into the relationship between light and shadows with four colorways: Blur, Radiance, Glow and Haze. Blur, seen here, delicately melds indigo and flame orange-red by mixing different shades of color in single knots.

Submerged Design

From blown-glass accessories producer Caleb Siemon comes a collection of small bubble vases, designed by Siemon and Carmen Salazar. The series' design contrasts banded lines in a number of colors and simple forms. The jade green, flared bulb mini bubble vase combines a sense of particular precision and sub-aquatic atmosphere. Each vase is hand-blown and shaped in lead-free crystal in California.

City Sooth

Lladro replicates a miniature cityscape with porcelain skyscrapers in hushed tones from yellow to charcoal to ivory. Intricate detail textures the collection of vases, lamps, mirrors and boxes all in the shape of diminutive buildings.

Simply Striped

Fabric designer and distributor JAB Anstoetz debuted its Blueprint by Chivasso line this summer, which offers updated interpretations of classic and historical prints. The new line's Anywhere collection suits indoor or outdoor use. A clever mix of materials enables style and function, as in these UV resistant, mildew-proof pillows shown in a warming, multi-hued stripe pattern.

Skyscraper Stylish

Artisan House plans to reintroduce a collection of C. Jeré lighting from the 1970s at the fall High Point Market. The 10-piece collection of chandeliers, table lamps and floor lamps includes the Domus floor lamp, shown in chrome, which stands at 61 inches tall and evokes big-city architecture inspiration. Each product is handcrafted and signed.
