Hamilton Wrenn Design District hosts Celebration of Design giveaways

HIGH POINT — The Hamilton Wrenn Design District Association, comprised of high-end exhibitors in the Hamilton Wrenn area here, will sponsor a "Celebration of Design" at the upcoming October High Point Market.

Emerson et Cie will be giving away one of its popular side tables seen here.

The Celebration of Design will feature a number of giveaways in member showrooms as well as complimentary food and drink.

"The Hamilton Wrenn Design District is well-established as the high-end area of the home furnishings industry. The October Market gives us the opportunity to celebrate high-end design and the interior designers who play such an important role in our industry," said Lisa Shankle, president of the Hamilton Wrenn Design District and general manager of Showplace Properties of IMC.

Some of the giveaways include Taylor King giving away an iPad 2, Emerson et cie one of its popular side table, Harden Furniture a wine table, and Jeffco its Modern bench. Also, some exhibitors will give away $500 off of product purchases opportunities.

To register for each giveaway, buyers must drop their business cards in receptacles in each showroom. The random drawings will be done at the conclusion of market on Thursday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 28, according to a representative of the association. Winners will be notified.
