Zuo Décor launches in Atlanta

Industry veteran Guardiola to oversee brand

Zuo Decor debuted in Atlanta this week.Zuo Decor Director Andrea Guardiola shows off some product inside the manufacturer's AmericasMart showroom.
Home furnishings supplier Zuo is doubling down on its commitment to home accessories this market with the launch of its Zuo Décor brand.

Offerings are on display inside Zuo’s Building 1, space 11-E-1 showroom.

Under the watch of Director Andrea Guardiola, the first products from this new division of the San Leandro, Calif.-based manufacturer include around 1,000 SKUs of accent furniture, clocks, candle holders, desk accents, indoor planters, figurines and objet d’art, mirrors, pillows, trays, wall art and vases, mostly sourced from Asia with an MSRP range of $50 to $400.

Guardiola said the decision to create this new brand stemmed from wanting to give Zuo’s customers a way to add the finishing touches to complement existing Zuo product.

“With the growth of Zuo’s products and categories over the last 12 years we have become more of a lifestyle brand,” she said. “We pride ourselves in offering our customers the ease of one stop shopping for their indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting and accents. We believe you don’t have to spend a fortune, to make it look like you did.”

Guardiola said Zuo Décor is designed to accommodate a wide range of customers, from large and small retailers, online shops, designers and more.

“With our drop ship capabilities, and 24 hour shipping we can meet the demands of any project,” she said. “With our in-house design and curation team, we take our client’s needs and ideas and develop an individual product line.

She said initially, the plan is for Zuo Décor to build a strong North American base before expanding elsewhere.

“Our goal is to launch décor collections with e-commerce and retailers domestically, focusing on US and Canada and then expand internationally within Latin America and Europe,” Guardiola said.

Guardiola comes to the company with a history on the wholesale and retail sides of the home décor industry and a love for accessories.

“My passion is the décor and accessories industry – and I have learned that in this industry is vast and not only growing but changes with each season,” she said. “I constantly monitor and analyze the hottest trends in furniture and fashion to select products that will bring affordability and a wide variety of styles, combining unbeatable quality and durable manufacturing.”

Zuo CEO Luis Ruesga said adding Guardiola’s knowledge base and background will help drive this new venture.

“Andrea’s knowledge of the industry and her years of experience are the total package for being the director of Zuo Décor. After speaking with Andrea for the first time I knew she is completely unique, in that she pairs her unbelievable talent for spotting trends and then being able to create products that will set Zuo Décor apart from our competitors,” Ruesga said. “Her professional background includes both a buyer and a seller is key to knowing both sides of the industry and means she can continue to deliver what Zuo is known for – offering beautiful luxury products at an affordable price.”
