Melrose Intl. opening new showroom in CMC

LOS ANGELES — Wholesale gift and home décor company Melrose International will debut in a new showroom in the California Market Center at the CMC Gift & Home Market, held Jan. 17-23, 2012.
"Melrose is very excited about moving to the CMC," said Brad Gullion, vice president of Melrose Intl. "The amenities and convenience of the CMC location are unmatched and will be great for our buyers, who will appreciate the underground parking, free shuttles, and restaurants."
The company plans to open its new 4,300-square-foot showroom, located on the 12th floor, C-wing of the CMC, in mid-November.
CMC considers the addition of Melrose Intl. as the cornerstone for its new Gift & Home Showcase on 12C, according to a press release from the market entity.
"Melrose joining us at the CMC will make us the strongest Christmas and holiday resource center in the Western United States," said Mickey Lang, owner of California Marketing Associates, located in suite C1300.
Melrose Intl. will be joined by several other new showrooms in the CMC's Gift & Home Showcase on 12C that will be unveiled at market.
"We are delighted that Melrose International has chosen to make the CMC their new L.A. headquarters," said Sue Bhanubandh, senior vice president of leasing at the CMC. "They are a key figure in the industry and their new showroom serves as an anchor for the growing showcase of notable gift and home companies joining them on 12C."
Established in 1986, Melrose Intl. is a wholesaler of giftware, home and holiday décor, silk florals, and garden accessories, and also has showrooms in Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta and Minneapolis.
