TOWSON, Md. - Home furnishings retailer West Elm today announced it will open a pop-up shop in Towson Town Center Nov. 10. The store will be the brand's second pop-up shop, opening with a unique assortment of furniture, décor and gifts. West Elm opened its first pop-up store on M Street in Georgetown this summer.Towson Town Center, Towson, Maryland
"All our stores are designed to create a shopping experience of ongoing discovery and fun for our customers - and the holidays are when we do this best," said Jim Brett, president of West Elm. "We are excited to join the Baltimore design scene at this perfect time of year."
In addition to furniture and accessories, the assortment, picked specifically for Towson Town Center, includes gifts, home decor and entertaining pieces, as well as an assortment of products that can be ordered monogrammed or personalized. Collaborations with Egg Press on holiday dinnerware, an exclusive knife collection from the Schmidt Brothers, and a five-piece furniture collection designed by Paul Loebach add to the mix.
Heavily influenced by global design and culture, West Elm also offers handmade and one-of-a-kind discoveries from around the world. These unique designs are created and sourced through long-standing relationships with organizations that support the development of global craft and artisan skills including Aid to Artisans and Keith Recker's Hand/Eye Magazine and Fund. The Holiday collection includes papier-mâché globe ornaments handmade in Haiti, colorful animal ornaments hand crafted in Vietnam, and pillows and throws hand stitched in India.
The new store is located at Towson Town Center, 825 Dulaney Valley Rd., second floor.
