Capel taps fabric designer for new product development post

Cindy Green is charged with assisting domestic and import product development as well as help with sample development and sales coordination. Her product development responsibilities include providing design and creative input for the Capel line of products, proprietary products, licensed products and import products. She is also involved in development of new yarn systems required for domestic product development.
“We are so excited to have Cindy on our team,” said Cameron Capel. “She is a highly talented designer with an exceptional eye for emerging fashion trends. Her experience on the fabric side of the business will be a valuable asset as we continue to develop new lines to meet the ever-evolving needs of consumers and our customers.”
Green hails from Global Textile Alliance , where she was the first designer hired by GTA and served for 14 years as senior designer. Previously, Green was a stylist and print designer for Culp Home Fashions .
Green is an active member of the Color Marketing Group , the premier international association for color design professionals. She currently serves as a member of CMG’s board of directors and vice chair of the North American ChromaZones Committee. She also is a member of WithIT , the women’s leadership development network.
