Furniture manufacturer Gus Modern is bringing the style sensibilities of textile brand Pendleton Woolen Mills to a limited collection of furniture.

Portland, Ore.-based Pendleton’s graphic jacquard patterns, inspired by indigenous and Southwestern motifs will adorn a series of lounge chairs created by Toronto-based Gus, celebrating the union of textiles and furniture.

“Fabric has a transformative effect on furniture and vice versa,” said Amanda Schuler, co-founder of Gus. “We love how beautifully the jacquard patterns mesh with the chairs in the collection. Both design teams had a chance to see their work in a new light. We’re very excited to present our collaboration to the public.”

A trio of Gus’ signature designs – the Elk chair, Halifax chair and GT rocker – is dressed in original Pendleton Woolen Mills fabrics, adding new life to the Mid-Century Modern vibe of the chairs.

The Gus x Pendleton Woolen Mills chairs will be available in the U.S. and Canada at select Gus retailers and online at for a limited time.
