Stylex recognized for green practices

DELANCO, N.J. — Stylex, a manufacturer of accent chairs, was honored with a Certificate of Environmental Stewardship from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Environmental Stewardship Initiative.

Crafted with polished cast aluminum, Stylex’s Sava chair is made from up to 98% recyclable materials and meets Greenguard Indoor Air Quality and Children and School certification.

The Initiative recognized Sylex for the proactive measures the company takes toward green building implementation, hazardous materials reduction, materials conservation, and innovative programming, according to a press release.

Also, Stylex was recognized for its new LEED certified Showroom in Chicago's Merchandise Mart. The showroom is made from mostly recycled materials, according to the company.

Stylex will officially launch its latest seating line this spring at NeoCon 2012 in Chicago.
